The Amphibian Specialist Group implements and supports on-the-ground conservation activities to protect threatened amphibian species around the world. One of the biggest threats to amphibians worldwide is habitat loss. By safeguarding sites that offer the last remaining habitat for amphibian species, we have helped to avert near extinctions of dozens of species. We will continue to tackle this and other threats head-on by working with local partners to protect and manage critical amphibian habitats. Our ability to do so is contingent on our generous donors.
